The municipality of Orihuela counts with various and plentiful natural areas recognised  with cultural and environmental values.
Welcome to the pearl of the Costa Blanca, famous for its beaches of fine sand, for its natural coves in protected scenery, for the warm and clear waters of the Mediterranean sea.
In its 16 km coastline you can enjoy mountaineering, marinas (Cabo Roig and Campoamor) natural coves (La Regia, La Mosca, La Estaca, Cala Capitán, Barranco Rubio, etc), fine sandy beaches (Punta Prima, Cabo Roig, Aguamarina, Campoamor, Mil Palmeras, etc), an equestrian centre in Campoamor, golf courses, (La Finca, Villamartin, Las Ramblas, Campoammor Golf Clubs, etc) all of it being surrounded by pine, almond and lemon trees and with the sea as a backfall.
Travelling inland you can see places that will leave you impressed; El Palmeral de Orihuela of undoubtable interest, the Sierra de Orihuela, the reservoir of La Pedrera or the peak wit its huge cross La Cruz de la Muela.
In the city centre of Orihuela you cannot miss visiting the cathedral and several churches the popular street Calle Arriba. You can also visit the House Museum of the poet Miguel Hernández, which was restored in 1985, and also you can take
